Ohio State's Ray Small Suspended
And daddy isn't happy. Small's father has charged the OSU coaching staff with "intentionally trying to ruin [his] son's career," after Small allegedly failed to go to class, and Tressel served up a two game suspension.
Small denies any wrongdoing.
What difference, if any, this makes in a squad that ranks 24th in the nation in punt returns will be seen Saturday when the Bucks square off against Northwestern (61st in the nation in punt return coverage).

Small's father is wrong...
Parents and students should understand that the purpose of college is academics first and foremost. Athletics is secondary and playing time is not a right but something to be earned. Student-athletes such as Ray Smalls need to understand that they are so incredibly lucky to be getting a scholarship for an education that most people would be envious to have. Parents and students such as these need to look at themselves and get their priorities straight.
