Didn't forget...

Just don’t know who they’re playing yet, so can’t put it up. Suspect LSU, but no announcement I can find…

Alright

Big Ten, let’s not go 1-6 again this year in the bowls, with Iowa being the only team to pull out a win. Good luck to everyone’s programs against their respective opponents.

They took the bar, the whole fucking bar!

My first blush reactions:

Rose: Ohio State v. Oregon (Could be the bowl of the year, and could go either way.)

Orange: Iowa v. Georgia Tech (I like the Hawkeyes chances against a one-dimensional Yellow Jacket attack. Iowa’s defensive line, and linebackers will need to play disciplined assignments, but they’ll get it done).

Capital One: Penn State v. LSU (Another great matchup. Bowman, et. al. should have a field day against the Tiger’s offense. Royster can do the rest.)

Outback: Northwestern v. Auburn (I was a bit surprised to see the Wildcats picked ahead of Wisconsin. Hopefully Northwestern’s defense will be used to seeing the spread. Still, I like Auburn here).

Champs Sports: Wisconsin v. Miami (Opposites attract: Part 1. If the Cane’s skill players get rolling this could look a lot like last year against Florida State. Still, the Badgers are a balanced, physical team, and they’ll get Miami a fight. Right now, I’ll give the Hurricanes the edge).

Alamo: Michigan State v. Texas Tech (Opposites attract: Part 2. I’m terrified of the Spartan Cover 2 against the Red Raiders quick strike pass parade. Still, after what Ohio State did to Texas in last year’s Fiesta, Michigan State has a shot at slowing the game down, and winning at the line. Still, I like Tech here).

Insight: Minnesota v. Iowa State (The Golden Gophers lucked out drawing the Cyclones over the Missouri Tigers. If they can get healthy, they can win one for the good guys).

That makes it 3-3 with the Rose Bowl undecided. Best case looks like 6-1, worse case looks like 2-5.

Sugar bowl

Wow, Florida spends all season as the near unanimous number 1 by all the polls and the coaches and in the end only gets the sugar bowl. that sucks haha
