I thought this article was interesting considering you guys have talked about which schools the Big Ten might take/want in the event of an expansion. It covers the Big Ten but also the Big 12 and the Pac 10. It's not great, but it is an interesting read.

So that leaves us with Paterno’s suggestion to add a Big East member, specifically Pittsburgh, Rutgers or Syracuse. The best possible fit for competitive and financial reasons would be Rutgers, a state school with a large alumni base that would add the nation’s largest TV market to the Big Ten footprint.

Good article, he is piggybacking nicely off what others have said…Here is what I gleam from all of this expansion talk: I love it, because it takes a long long time to add another team and although there has been expansion talk before, this year it got ramped up substantially…So maybe all the hype and thought of possible money will push the right buttons to get the process slowly rolling along…The possibility of 14 million dollars from a championship game is also nice to look at…

More specifically, I still think Pitt is a better pick than Rutgers and I don’t know how possible Missouri coming over is…

Going East

I still think that we’re more likely to see the conference go East, and as I said back when we discussed, Rutgers is a better choice than Pitt.

If they go west, Nebraska makes a bigger splash than Mizzou. I also don’t see Mizzou leaving Kansas. So I’d guess Nebraska or a 14 team super league.

Purely from a PSU fan stand point

bring on Pitt. I think the sooner the Big Ten gets over Notre Dame the better, They are the main road block because people can not get over the fact that they are a perfect fit for the league. Forget about ND and it makes it all a little easier. Thats why I like what JoePa said, he said they had their chance and its over.
