119 (10) We all assume that Penn State wins the Greg Paulus challenge, right?
2 194_medium
108 (1) If Tressel kicks the chip shot field goal to go up 18 with 5 minutes to play, is OSU still Number 1?
3 127_medium
98 That's how you handle a 1-AA team.
4 130_medium
85 All those people who predicted a 5 or 6 win Michigan team got very quiet very quickly.
5 77_medium
75 That's how you handle a 1-AA team, Part II.
6 2294_medium
59 That's NOT how you handle a 1-AA team.  Play like that again, and they'll lose by 20.
7 275_medium
55 They hung on, but there are concerns...
8 2509_medium
42 Could this be the surprise team of the season?  We'll know more by the wee small hours of Sunday morning.
9 135_medium
41 Syracuse is better than it ever was under Greg Robinson.  That road win was a good one for Minnesota.
10 356_medium
30 It's not just that they lost to Mizzou again.  It's that it looked like the team never got off the bus.
11 84_medium
14 That's NOT how you handle a 1-AA team.  Play like that again, and they'll lose by 20, Part II.  We, obviously, expect that to happen often.

Mea Culpa on Michigan

nice to see my tradition of predicting the worst Big Ten team in the league is blowing up in my face. In 2007 it was Michigan State, last year it was Iowa.

Thanks for the Purdue respct, BTW, it is nice to see separation from Indiana in the basement.

A futile crusade to prevent mass ignorance

Good to see ...

…Illinois get dinged for that awful miserable pathetic performance against Mizzou. I wasn’t quite sure why everyone was so high on the Illini coming into the season. While they came back more expereienced, that experience was a discombobulated unmitigated mess of confusion last year. They have the offensive talent to compete, but lack of team chemistry and coaching ability is keeping them from developing.

Man looks in the abyss, there's nothing staring back at him. At that moment, man finds his character. And that is what keeps him out of the abyss. -- Lou Mannheim, Wall Street
